Literature Text

Days wean,
You look beautiful in a poorly lighted room,
And our grimaces blur with lust.

Circumstance leads to dirt and dance
(in other words crappy rhymes that barely expressed how my veins scream at your touch and how warm you skin feels, even when you are still wearing clothes)
Mothers and sisters and younger brothers
Turn and glance,
"we aren't in love."

Screw the truth,
Can we not lie?
Because there is a over stock of dumb boys
And sadly, you're on that shelf.
Thank God my allowance went up
Or else I couldn't purchase you.

Bitter, tainted with smut
Innocent girl doing innocent things
With a dark heart and a hard want,
She turns over a new leaf and burns the old ones.

Bored cashier and unhappy customer
Clichés break and silence overtakes,
You stay on that shelf and I shuffle home
Dull and alone.
unmeritorious

It's funny that you put this in "Romantic". It fits, but it really doesn't. I like that kind of poetry. Like it a lot.
